Nothing in this document is intended to affect, nor will it affect a consumer's statutory rights. By proceeding with the sale of a vehicle with Earls Autos Ltd, you accept the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement below.

 

reservation

We charge £100 reservation fee to reserve a vehicle for a maximum of 5 days total. If you do not come to your pre-booked viewing appointment to view your reserved vehicle at our showroom, Unit 17A, Imperial Way, Yaxley, Peterborough, PE7 3GP, and physically view the car then the reservation fee is non-refundable. However, if you do show up to your booked viewing appointment, and decide that you do not want to buy the car, then the reservation fee is fully refundable within 24 hours.

Please also note that this is not a deposit on the car. It is a reservation fee only. 

Sales

All sales by Earls Autos Ltd are subject to the following terms and conditions of sale. When purchasing a vehicle from Earls Autos Ltd you must confirm you agree to the following:

  • You are the buyer of the applicable vehicle at the price stated.
  • You are over 18 years of age.
  • You understand it is your responsibility to return the vehicle to the seller in the event that you require a statutory repair or wish to exercise your statutory right to reject.
  • You understand if distance sales regulations apply, they expire after 14 days.

The goods shall remain the property of the Earls Autos Ltd until such time as the purchase price in full is received by Earls Autos Ltd and any monies have been cleared.

RETURNS POLICY

In the event that you have a valid reason to return the vehicle under your consumer rights, we will require the vehicle to be returned in the same condition as when it was purchased. The vehicle has to be back with us, at our address, Unit 17A, Imperial Way, Yaxley, Peterborough, PE7 3GP, at the buyer/owners cost.

We will also exercise our right to deduct a reasonable sum of money having taken in to account the usage of the vehicle and any failure to keep it in good repair and condition.

Any vehicle which is returned for a refund, is subject to an excess mileage charge of £1.00 GBP per mile. The vehicle mileage at point of sale will be determined from the sale invoice. There will also be a one-off charge of £250.00 GBP re-stocking fee.

If you have altered, modified, personalised, or adapted the Vehicle in any way you will have no right of cancellation.

We will make a deduction from the reimbursement if the Vehicle has suffered any diminished value due to you handling or using it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function; i.e. handling or use beyond what a customer would reasonably undertake when appraising and test-driving a vehicle at a dealership prior to purchase.

The V5C registration document must be returned to us as soon as you receive it from DVLA. This forms part of the goods and no reimbursement will be made until this is received.
